Oh my gosh! Where did September go? It was here, and now it’s almost gone. And I’ve had a busy month, planning the Canadian KidLit Gala (now in its second year—and better than ever!) and appearing at Word On the Street (post to come!).
But fear not! If you missed me at WOTS, you can catch me at The Festival of Literary Diversity’s FIRST EVER kids fest, in Brampton, Ontario, THIS WEEKEND! And it’s ALL FREE! I'll be reading SMALL WORLD and signing books at a special storytime at 1:30pm TOMORROW (FRIDAY, Sept 27) at the Early ON Centre at 57 Mill Street N., and again at the Snuggle Up and Read storytime at PAMA at 6:30pm with my friends Hilary Leung, Danielle Daniel, and Angelot Ndongmo! And there will be a whole host of awesome kidlit creators presenting all weekend.
