Going to a major conference like NCTE to talk about books with librarians and educators has always been a bucket list item for me, and I'm really excited to be going to Baltimore this year. If you're going, too, then come to my panels! I'll be talking about the role of picture books in raising environmentalists on Thursday morning at 9:30, signing copies of SMALL WORLD on Friday afternoon at 1:30, and talking about how picture books can inspire self-advocacy and student-led learning on Saturday morning at 11.
These are topics I'm really passionate about, and I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity to talk in more depth about them with educators. I hope to see you there!
